Welcome To WebTitanic!

I have always been Facinated with the great ship Titanic. The first time I heard about the Titanic Story was when I was 8 years old and back then I didnt really understand the real story, but I knew that the Titanic Disaster was one of the most notorious and deadly seagoing tragedies of the 20th century. And for this reason I have created a website about the Titanic.

WebTitanic started out as a College Project. It got great reviews from teachers and students and as a result the project got top marks for being informative, interactive and above all, fun. And so I have put the project online so that you, the visitors, can see it for yourselves and see what you think of it.

In College, I set out to design a website in such a way that it would be an easy to navigate site, provided the user with a good interactive site, and have no long boring pages of information. And I think I have done that.

I also aimed at providing a website for which you, the visitor, could share your information, your thoughts, your own work (like essays, poems, articles, etc.) and other aspirations you might have about the Titanic. If you have anything you would like to send this site, I will be only too happy to oblige (You would get 100% credit for your work).

If you have any comments or improvements you would like to see on WebTitanic, please feel free to email me at

karl@webtitanic.net.

And finally.

I hope this website is just what you are looking for in the line of Titanic, and thanks for visiting it.
